Large Double Room in Quite Home

Large double room available in a quiet 3-bedroom home in Chadwell St Mary.

This is not a typical multi-occupancy house share. I live in the property myself, and I’m looking for just one lodger, so the house would be shared only with me and my cat.

There are three bedrooms in total. My bedroom and the room available are both good-sized double rooms, while the third, smaller bedroom is used as a home office, so there will be no additional lodgers.

The room has recently been redecorated and is bright and spacious, with a large built-in wardrobe, sofa/sofa bed, full-length mirror and plenty of floor space.

The house has a large shared living room, kitchen, upstairs bathroom and a separate downstairs cloakroom. There is fast fibre broadband and no TVs dominating the shared spaces, so the house is generally peaceful and relaxed.

I’m looking for someone clean, considerate and independent, ideally someone who has rented or shared a home before and understands the usual common-sense rules of living with another person: cleaning up after yourself, leaving shared areas as you found them and sharing responsibility for keeping the house clean and pleasant.

I’m not looking for a party house or a situation where either of us has to live on top of the other. There is plenty of space to have your own life and privacy while still feeling at home rather than confined to one room.

£950 per month, bills included. Single occupancy only.
