Beautiful, Sunny Room in Friendly Family Home

A gorgeous, spacious east-facing double bedroom is available in our welcoming family home in SS9.

The room is bright and sunny, with a lovely warm feel, and is painted in Farrow & Ball’s India Yellow, giving it a cheerful and homely character.

The bedroom is upstairs and comes furnished with a comfortable double bed, wardrobe and built-in shelving.

Broadband is included, and you’ll also have access to the digital TV in our shared living space.

The house has a bright, open-plan kitchen and living area, creating a relaxed and sociable family space. The kitchen is available for you to use, and there is also a downstairs WC. The main family bathroom is shared and has both a separate shower and bath.

You’ll be sharing the home with me, my two daughters and Star, our extremely friendly dog. We’re a busy household, but we’re warm, friendly and respectful of each other’s space.

We’re looking for a female lodger who will enjoy living in a family home and treat it as a home rather than simply somewhere to sleep.

A lovely location, the house is situated in a quiet and friendly residential neighbourhood, conveniently located for:

* Chalkwell Station – approximately 15 minutes’ walk
* A regular bus service to Southend, with the bus stop literally at the end of the road and buses running approximately every 20 minutes
* The beach 15 mins walk
* Belfairs Woods 15 mins walk
* Local shops and amenities
* Southend Hospital
* Southend Airport

There is also free on-street parking with no restrictions.

The location gives you easy access to Leigh-on-Sea, Southend and surrounding areas while still providing a peaceful place to come home to.

The room would suit a female professional or student, someone relocating to the area, working locally, or simply looking for a comfortable and welcoming home rather than a conventional house share.

Broadband and digital TV access are included. There’s a wood burner in the sitting room too so it’s super cosy in the winter.
