I have a spacious double room available in my four bedroom home, a beautiful character property dating back to the 1600’s complete with period features, fire place and tons of charm.

My home is on Quay street, right on the river Stour, with Manningtree High Street’s cafes, pubs & and independent cafes a few minutes walk away and Manningtree train station a 20 min walk.

Manningtree, England’s smallest town is nestled within an AONB and was voted Sunday Times ‘Best Place to Live’ 2019

The bedroom is a comfortable double, with views over the river Stour.

You’ll be sharing with myself, Alex (late 20s), and Charles (50s).

Manningtree was recently voted the Sunday Times ‘Best Place to Live’ and it’s not difficult to see why. The smallest town in England, Manningtree has a village feel with a real sense of community. With a host of restaurants and shops, as well as cosy pubs, you‘re a stone’s throw from everything you need whilst having the countryside right on your doorstep.

I travel a bit so am not around all the time. You’ll share with myself and two other lodgers.

Downstairs there is a separate annex which is rented out on Air BnB to holiday makers, so the garden is shared with AirBnB guests too.
