A recently decorated double bedroom in a modern, clean and tidy four-bedroom house in a lovely quiet location, with views over open fields.
The house has three bedrooms on the first floor. Your room is furnished with a double bed, bedside cabinets, large double wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table, TV and comfortable lounge chair.
Also on the first floor is a newly renovated, spacious bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet and sink. As the live-in-landlady I have my own ensuite on the second floor, this bathroom will mainly be for your use. There is also a part-time female lodger who uses the small bedroom and stays just one or two nights a week, and she will also use the bathroom when she is staying.
The ground floor has a large lounge/dining room, conservatory and garden backing onto open fields. You will have access to the kitchen and washing machine, plus an additional WC and basin.
About the arrangement
I am a part-time live-in landlady and travel frequently, so I'm looking for a clean, tidy, respectful and trustworthy housemate who will treat the house with care and respect.
Most importantly, I have two cats, one elderly and one just a year old, so being super cat-friendly is essential. As I travel regularly, I'm particularly looking for someone who would be genuinely happy to look after the cats and keep an eye on the house when I'm away.
I'm looking for someone who enjoys a quiet, clean and well-kept home and is comfortable with a live-in landlady/lodger arrangement. I think it's important that we are a good fit in terms of lifestyle and expectations, so I'd be happy to have a chat before arranging a viewing.
