This lovely rural location is surrounded by farmland, so if you enjoy walking, cycling or running then you’ve hit the jackpot as the property is close to walking and cycling tracks leading to the picturesque Blackwater Estuary, with access to the stunning sea wall.
Turn right when you reach the sea to walk, ride or run round towards Maldon, passing the hidden gems of Goldhanger Beach and Osea Island, en route to Mill Beach then Heybridge Basin and onwards towards Maldon.
Turn left, in the opposite direction, towards Mersea, just a short distance and you’re passing a small hidden beach then towards and round Shingle Head all with stunning views across the Blackwater estuary .
Onwards towards Tollesbury Marina then continuing on heading to Old Hall Marshes, Salcot Creek, Great Wigborough and Eventually Mersea Island
The Blackwater Estuary is absolutely stunning and a hot spot for photography with the views and wildlife all year round.
Two different types of deer can be seen within a half a mile section of the sea wall with birds of prey like Marsh Harriers and Kites and Buzzards being very common in the fields surrounding the garden here .
For owl lovers, Barn Owls and Tawny Owls can commonly be seen and heard in the garden and in close proximity to the house, calling out.
So if you like walking, running, cycling or fishing, or just sitting, watching and enjoying the countryside, all very close by, then you may have found the place for you.
Great rural location but closely located between the towns of Maldon, Colchester and Tiptree, with a bus service that picks up and drop off at the end of the garden which great with our location .
