Double Room to Rent in Crossford, Near Dunfermline - £625 Per Calendar Month.

Please note: I am only considering female lodgers. Enquiries from male applicants will not be considered.

About you – I’m looking for a single, professional, non-smoking female lodger who enjoys a peaceful, relaxed home and has interests and hobbies that reflect a mature, balanced lifestyle – someone who’s more into a quiet evening or weekend walk than partying.

You should be in full-time employment or a stable professional contract. I’d prefer someone who works in an office or onsite for the majority of the week, with only occasional rather than regular working from home. You’re very welcome to have friends or family over for a cuppa or bite to eat, but no overnight guests are permitted.

About me – I’m a marketing professional based in Crossford, a quiet commuter village just a mile from Dunfermline. I’m self-employed and work from home. I enjoy walking with my Springer Spaniels and having good conversations with friends when they pop in.

As I work from home and the dogs aren’t always out with my dog walker during the day, there can be some daytime dog noise. The room therefore wouldn’t be suitable for someone working night shifts who needs to sleep during the day.

About my home/the room – I’m renting out a double room in my 1930s converted bungalow. The room is in the peaceful north-west corner of the house and comes with use of a large adjacent shared bathroom.

You’ll also have access to the shared sunny, south-facing lounge with Sky TV, a spacious kitchen-family room and a utility room with a washing machine. The house has a large south-facing back garden, patio and orchard for you to enjoy.

About Crossford – The village has excellent transport links, with a bus stop five minutes away and connections towards Glasgow, Stirling, Kirkcaldy and St Andrews. From Dunfermline, you can travel to Edinburgh in around 40 minutes by bus or 30 minutes by train. There’s also a pharmacy, local shops and lovely countryside walks nearby.

About my dogs – My well-behaved dogs are restricted to the kitchen-family room and their own space in the utility room, so they don’t have access to the bedrooms or main living areas. You must, however, like dogs and be comfortable living in a home with them.

About the rent – Rent is £625 per calendar month, including bills, with one month’s notice required by either of us.

If you think the room and household might suit you, or you have any questions, please get in touch.
