Part Time and/or Short Term

Double room in a quiet Victorian home in Filton. Bills included. Full-time or Monday–Friday let available. Excellent location for Airbus, Rolls-Royce, the MOD, Southmead Hospital and UWE Frenchay Campus. Friendly household with one cat and one dog.

A comfortable double room is available in my beautifully presented Victorian mid-terrace home. I’m happy to consider either a full-time lodger or a Monday–Friday/part-time arrangement at a reduced rent. Bedding can be provided and laundered, if required.

The room is designed for a good night’s sleep, with double-glazed windows, a wooden blind and blackout curtains. While the room is not en suite, the house has two bathrooms and a separate shower room, so the bathroom next door is rarely in use by others.

For Monday–Friday rentals, you’re welcome to leave a some belongings over the weekend, provided they’re stored neatly in the storage space available, as the room may occasionally be used at weekends. Weekday lets are intended for people who have a permanent home elsewhere to return to at weekends.

The house is home to me (Suzanne), my 13-year-old son, a very friendly cat and a Yorkshire Terrier. We also have a part-time lodger. It’s a friendly but fairly quiet household where everyone tends to enjoy their own space.

I’m looking for one lodger only (no couples or overnight guests). Short-term lets are welcome, and the room would suit someone with light cooking requirements. There is also access to a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The location is conveniently situated between Gloucester Road North and Southmead Road, with bus stops just a two-minute walk away in both directions. On-street parking is plentiful, and there’s a Tesco Express only two minutes away for everyday essentials.
