Room in Modern Home - Share with Landlord couple & BLH Cat🐱

We have a room available for one person in our modern, newly built four-bedroom detached home in Gloucester. You’ll be sharing with us, a husband-and-wife couple, and our little indoor British Longhair cat. There are no other lodgers or tenants.

🛏️ The room and facilities
A bedroom for your own use, furnished with a bed frame, mattress and wardrobe. A desk can also be provided on request at no additional charge.

🛁 A modern main bathroom and toilet with a bidet, mainly for your use. We do not ordinarily use these facilities, although our visitors may occasionally use them.

🍳 Shared use of the kitchen.

🌿 Access to a well-lit, well-maintained garden for relaxing.

💧 A whole-house water-softening system.

The garage, living room and our bedrooms are private and are not included in the shared facilities.

🤝 Living with us
We’re looking for someone considerate, tidy and respectful who is comfortable sharing a home with a cat. We ask that you clean up after using the kitchen and bathroom, keep your bedroom clean, and be mindful of noise.

The room is available for single occupancy only, so unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate couples.

Food is not included. However, we dont mind cooking a meal certain nights for a sit down :)

📍 Views, location and parking:
🌄 Enjoy a beautiful view of the Matson dry ski slope from your bedroom window.

🌳 A park is directly opposite the house.

🛒 A supermarket, laundrette are 3-5min by driving and gym and bus stop are approximately 3-5 minutes by walking from home.

🚗 A dedicated parking space is available.

🏡 The house is situated on a private road, with external CCTV covering the outside of the property.

🚭 Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors, but you’re welcome to smoke or vape outside the property. Visitor and overnight-guest arrangements will be discussed during the viewing.

📅 The room is offered on a rolling monthly basis, with one calendar month’s written notice required from either party.

🐱 Our resident cat
Our cat is an indoor-only, GCCF-registered British Longhair. He is well-trained, calm, playful and friendly, and will be kept out of your room.

We take full responsibility for his care, so you won’t be expected to feed him, clean his litter tray or take on any other pet-care duties. We simply ask that you take care with external doors and windows to help keep him safely indoors.

No additional pets are permitted without the owners’ prior written permission.
