I'm looking for a friendly, respectful housemate to rent a good-sized double room with its own private bathroom in my home.

The house is located on a quiet dead-end road with plenty of parking and has a really relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. I've rented a room out for the past five years and it's always worked really well, so I'm looking for someone who wants a peaceful, easy-going place that feels more like a home than simply renting a room.

One of the more unusual features of the house is the wellness area, which you're welcome to use:

So if you're into that sort of thing, you'll probably struggle to find many house shares with the same setup!

The Dogs 🐶

I have two very friendly dogs who are with me week-on, week-off, so you'll need to be comfortable around dogs.

They're both used to people coming and going and are great company. When they're here, you'll definitely have a couple of extra housemates, just considerably hairier ones.

About Me

I'm a mortgage adviser, fairly laid-back and easy to get on with. During the week I tend to keep things reasonably quiet as I have early starts and am usually winding down by around 9pm.

I'm sociable and happy to have a chat, but equally appreciate that everyone likes their own space. The house is big enough that you don't feel like you're living on top of each other.

Who I'm Looking For

Ideally, I'm looking for someone clean, respectful and easy-going who wants more than just somewhere to sleep and would appreciate having a comfortable home environment.

Previous lodgers have stayed happily for years, which I'd like to think says quite a lot about the atmosphere here.
