Looking for a FEMALE flat mate - 2-bed in Barking

Hi! I’m looking for a lovely female flatmate to move into my 2-bedroom flat from the end of January 2027.

A little about me: I’m an accountant working at an art gallery, and I’m also a content creator on the side. I work from home around 3 days a week, so I do spend quite a bit of time at home unless I’m having a busy week with shoots/events.

I’m looking for a girly who has a similar lifestyle and would genuinely enjoy living together, rather than us just being two strangers sharing a flat. Someone friendly, clean, respectful and easy-going who enjoys having her own space but is also happy to have a chat, watch something together or just coexist comfortably. 🫶🏽

I’m also a Bollywood dancer, so expect plenty of Bollywood/South Asian music playing around the house 💃🏽😂 If you’re into content, fashion, beauty, Bollywood, dance or similar things, even better!

🏡 The flat

It’s a modern 2-bedroom flat on the 5th floor, around a 15-minute walk from Barking Station.

The flat has:

* Open-plan kitchen and living room
* Balcony
* Two bedrooms
* One en-suite bedroom, which I will be occupying
* A separate bathroom for your use
* Plenty of shared living space

I am the second tenant on the tenancy, so you would be joining the existing tenancy/household.

💷 Rent & bills

The advertised monthly price includes the household bills, as all of the bills are currently under my name. I prefer keeping everything together so it’s simple and there’s no chasing each other for five different payments every month.

Bills currently work out at approximately £150 per person per month based on two people working from home. Please bear in mind that energy/heating costs can vary depending on usage, so this may fluctuate slightly.

🌸 Who I’m looking for

I’m looking for one female flatmate only, either a working professional or student. Unfortunately, I’m not looking to accommodate couples.

As this is also my home, there are a couple of important household boundaries:

No pork in the flat and no alcohol in the flat.

You don’t have to have exactly the same lifestyle as me, but I’d love to find someone who is respectful of those boundaries and wants a comfortable, clean and chilled home environment.
