We're a friendly, mature family of 5 offering a calm and secluded room in our home either on a Mon-Fri basis or full time. Available from mid June. Price negotiable depending on length of stay required. Ideal for a student or young person looking for a safe family environment. Large Edwardian house on a beautiful leafy street in Beckenham (on the Sydenham border.)

Nearest station is New Beckenham an 8 minute walk with trains direct to London Bridge (17 mins), Waterloo (24 mins) and Charing Cross (29 mins). Also within walking distance of Beckenham Junction and Beckenham Hill stations.

Spacious house and a big, beautiful leafy garden to relax in. Large eat in kitchen and multiple living areas. We're looking for someone to share a smile and chat with, who is also busy like us. It won't suit someone who works from home during the week more than occasionally.

You should be happy to keep your side of the living space tidy and clean up after using the kitchen. (We also have a regular cleaner). You will have your own small fridge/freezer for your sole use. You will have a bathroom that is mostly (but not exclusively) used by you and visitors (we have a separate family bathroom) .

As it's a family situation, we're looking for someone happy to socialise with their friends out of the house and we can't have overnight guests. We are otherwise quite easygoing despite being busy and looking for someone who also has a sunny, friendly approach to life and values a safe home environment and location. Council tax band G
