Large double room in beautiful renovated house – Beckenham / Kelsey Park – £1,400 incl. bills & cleaner

I’m looking for someone to share my recently renovated home on a private road in Beckenham, backing directly onto Kelsey Park.

The house was originally a four-bedroom property but has been reconfigured into a spacious two-bedroom home, so there’s considerably more living space than you’d usually get in a house share. Two of the original bedrooms have been converted into a dedicated cinema room, and there’s also a separate living room.

The whole house has been recently renovated in a mid-century modern style and is finished to a high standard.

The available bedroom is a large double with a king-size bed and three built-in, internally lit double wardrobes, so there’s a huge amount of storage. The bathroom and bathroom are on their own floor.

About me:

I’m 36 and work in property, often working from home. I’m friendly and easy-going, but fairly independent and see the house as somewhere relaxed to come home to rather than a party house.

I’m looking for someone with a similar mindset: clean, considerate and respectful of the house and each other’s space. It would be nice to occasionally have dinner or a glass of wine together, but there’s no expectation that we need to socialise all the time.

This would particularly suit someone who wants the comfort and space of a really nice home, while still having the independence that comes with living with just one other person.
