Spacious double in riverside flat

Your room

Bright, modern flat by the Thames with a balcony and lovely river views. My current flatmate has really enjoyed living here but is moving for work, so the room will be available from April (flexible tho, open to discuss!)

The room is a good-sized double. I have an en-suite, so you’d have the main bathroom (toilet and bath/shower) to yourself. There’s plenty of space if you work from home — easily room for a desk (or two). It comes with a wardrobe. The views look out over Kew Gardens, the Thames and towards Chiswick, and there’s also a communal garden right by the river.

The flat vibe is relaxed and modern with books, artwork and a big TV. The kitchen is well set up with lots of storage and all the usual stuff — fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave.

In terms of transport you’ve got Brentford SWR station, Gunnersbury, South Ealing and Ealing Broadway all nearby, plus buses right outside. There’s also secure bike storage.

There are good pubs and restaurants nearby, the ones down by the river are especially lovely on summer evenings.

A bit about me: I’m a 28-year-old freelance journalist and the owner. I mostly work from home but I’m sometimes out on the road. Outside work I see friends and family, travel, play football (badly) and go to gigs, theatre and the odd opera.

I’m looking for someone easygoing, tidy and considerate — someone who wants a comfortable place to call home rather than just a room.
