Beautiful Double Room in Stylish Renovated Bromley Home: £1,250 PCM (All Bills Included)

We're a friendly, easy going professional couple looking for a female lodger to join us in our beautiful three storey home in Bromley.

Our house was fully renovated around two years ago and is modern, beautifully furnished and exceptionally well maintained. We've put a lot of love and care into making it a comfortable, welcoming place to live, and we'd love to find someone who appreciates that as much as we do.

The Room & House:

The room is a lovely, fully furnished double bedroom on the first floor, featuring a comfortable king size bed, desk and an exceptional amount of storage - something that's not always easy to find in London!

There are three double wardrobes, additional overhead storage and plenty of space underneath the bed, so you'll have more than enough room for your belongings.

You'll also have almost exclusive use of a beautiful, spacious bathroom on the same floor, complete with a shower and bathtub. We have our own en suite upstairs, so the main bathroom would primarily be yours, although we occasionally use it ourselves and visiting guests may use it too.

The rest of the house features:

- Beautifully furnished open plan living and dining areas

- Comfortable shared living spaces and TV
- Lovely outdoor space with a comfortable garden sofa for relaxing in the warmer months
- Walking pad/treadmill
- Professional cleaner visiting twice a month

Location & Neighbourhood:

We're situated on a lovely residential road in Bromley (BR1), approximately a 15 minute walk from Bromley South station, with direct trains into London Victoria taking around 20 minutes.

One of our favourite things about living here is the wonderful community on our road. We have an active neighbourhood WhatsApp group, and everyone is incredibly friendly and looks out for one another, whether that's taking in parcels, helping each other out or simply being welcoming neighbours.

It's a really lovely environment to come home to, with a genuine sense of community that's sometimes hard to find in London.

Street parking is available, including spaces directly outside the house, although a yearly parking permit would need to be arranged and paid for separately if you have a car.

A Little About Us:

We're a friendly, relaxed and sociable couple who both work professionally, sometimes with slightly unconventional schedules. We're generally quite laid back and enjoy a calm, comfortable home, although we can occasionally be awake later in the evenings due to our work and lifestyles.

One of us works from home, so ideally we'd love to find someone who works or studies outside the house for most of the week (around 4-5 days). This isn't a strict requirement, and working from home is absolutely welcome, but someone who regularly heads out during the week would be a particularly good fit for the household.

We occasionally have friends visiting or staying overnight in our separate office/guest space, but we're always considerate of everyone's privacy and comfort.

Our Household:

We're very house-proud and like to keep everything clean, tidy and organised. We have a professional cleaner twice a month, but we also believe in everyone doing their part day to day.

In particular, we like the kitchen to be left clean and ready for the next person after cooking, with dishes washed and surfaces wiped down rather than left overnight.

A few important things about our household:

- We're a strictly **shoes-off household**.
- We're a **pork free household** due to a severe allergy, so pork cannot be brought into or prepared in the home.
- We're non smokers and are looking for a non smoking lodger.
- We'd ask that visitors and overnight guests are agreed with us in advance, as we're mindful of privacy and maintaining a comfortable shared home.

Beyond that, we're genuinely relaxed, friendly people who want everyone to feel at home.

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for a friendly, considerate, clean and independent female lodger who would enjoy living in a welcoming, relaxed but well maintained home.

We're open to working professionals, mature students, postgraduates and international students, and we'd love to welcome someone from another part of the world.

Age isn't particularly important to us - it's much more about finding someone mature, respectful and compatible with our household.

We're ideally looking for someone who wants to stay long term (preferably 12 months or more), although we're happy to consider stays from six months onwards.

Before moving forward, we'd love to arrange a viewing and have a proper chat/coffee so we can all get to know each other and make sure it feels like the right fit.
