Mon - Fri let
Seeking a respectful, friendly and relaxed housemate to join our lovely home in Hayes. Monday to Friday let preferred, odd weekends by arrangement. LGBTQ+ friendly.
All bills are included. Council tax is included but is Hillingdon band B for transparency.
We have a small, friendly, low shedding dog named Arlo. Pets are considered as long as they get on well with ours ! (No cats)
The room includes a large wardrobe, double bed with comfy mattress, a large TV and PS4 which you can use to watch Netflix, YouTube etc (or play games!) You are also welcome to watch TV in the lounge together. It looks over the garden so is quiet and private. As it is a Monday-Friday let, we also offer to provide bed linen and towels, and are happy to launder them every couple of weeks for you.
No smoking in the house but ok to smoke in the garden.
Kitchen includes all normal amenities and you are welcome to cook whenever you like.
Current Tennants: Dan, age 35, is a self employed professional working in the film industry. He enjoys gaming, keeping up with the football and walking the dog. Dan's partner, Tamsin, 34 is a self employed musician who works from home as well as teaching trumpet and performing. Arlo, 4 years old, is an adorable French Bulldog cross Bichon Frisé who is completely housetrained and well behaved. If you like dogs and would be willing to occasionally walk him or dog sit, that would be a big bonus ! He also loves to cuddle up on the sofa.
Local amenities: Hayes and Harlington station is 5/6 minutes walk. There you have the Elizabeth line connecting Heathrow, Reading and London, trains every 5-7 minutes. Also lots of bus services from the high street which is 3 minutes walk away. There is Lidl, Asda, Sainsburys and Tesco within walking distance as well as amazing local supermarkets selling Indian, Greek, Lebanese etc. food, and open until late. There are many eclectic cafes and restaurants as well. Hayes has a very good gym and swimming pool, as well as a small climbing centre. There are several pharmacies and a large health centre. For drivers, there is parking in our driveway which fits 2 cars at a squeeze (we have one) and you can get to the M4 within 5 minutes, M40 within 10 minutes and M25 within 15 minutes.
We would love a housemate who is interested in getting to know each other and watching TV/eating together, but who also respects and appreciates personal space and alone time.
Couples: the room is not available to couples or families as the shared spaces are not big enough to support 4 people living here (only 1 bathroom, 1 small kitchen)
Rent is paid on the 1st of each month but you are welcome to move in before November 1st and pay a percentage of the October rent.
Please feel free to contact and ask any questions you might have. Ideally viewings would be done in person so that we can get to know you, but zoom may be possible if you are not currently around London.
