Lovely single room, 10 min walk New Malden stn

We are a young family with a spare room to rent out. We have two young children, a boy aged 18 months and a daughter aged 5 years old. Including my wife and I, there are four of us in the house. We are of British Pakistani background and are a practicing Muslim family.

The property is council tax band G

This room is with a shared bathroom (there are two bathrooms you can use). All bills are included. Our home is a 10 minute walk from New Malden station and a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop (#213). New Malden high street is also walking distance. The room comes with air-condition but we ask that this only be used in the summer months. The room also has a built in cupboard.

Though there is no garage, we have a locked external storage room at the front of the house and depending on the amount of things that need to be stored, we can provide some space and access.

This is a Halal household, so we’d prefer a Muslim flatmate. We kindly inform any potential tenants that we do not allow any alcohol or non-halal meat in our house, nor any guests. I work full-time and often travel out of the country. My wife is a stay at home mother. As such, we would prefer a female tenant.
