Room-and-a-half

The room is 5m56cm long by 2m10cm wide, widening to 3m65cm for the 1m80cm where the door gives access. There is a south facing window and a Velux skylight.

There is a bunkbed built into the room but I do not permit tenants to sleep there as I consider it unsafe by virtue of it being a bit too easy for them to roll out of and since it is about 2m up this could be dangerous (I have slept there comfortably, but while I'm happy to risk my own neck I'm not so keen on risking yours). It does make very handy storage, or a nook for reading or relaxing.

The room is painted white, the bunk, sky blue and the carpet is grey with black and white speckles.

You will be sharing the bathroom (which has a fantastic shower) with me.

The other room which is of major interest in any house share is the kitchen. We have a large kitchen which takes up a third of the ground floor. It has a kitchen table, granite work surfaces and a stone flagged floor. The kitchen is where the fridge, freezer, washing machine, washing up machine and tumble drier are located. The cooker has six rings and an oven so there is plenty of room.

The area is very quiet and well situated. We are 10-15 minutes walk from Kingston and Norbiton Rail Stations and Kingston Hospital, 10 mins from the Cromwell Road Bus Station and the Thames and 5 mins from Richmond Park.

The room is available November 1st. Bills and Council Tax are not included and have been £130 - £190 pcm this year.

I do have a cat, who is about 18 months old, neutered female, a rescue, black, and very cute.

Your age, gender, sexual orientation and ethnic origins are not things I bother about - in fact I like a bit of diversity. As long as you are honest and understand that sharing a kitchen and bathroom does require some washing up and cleaning from all concerned we should get along fine.

This is a smoking house. 420 friendly.
