The rooms that are available are lockable, both are large doubles with 2 seater sofas in the rooms and a desk/table plus storage hanging spaces.

Bedroom 1 is the loft room. With sloped ceilings and lots of storage space. You will have an area out on the top landing which has hanging spaces, 2 x chest of drawers plus the eaves… a double bed with storage underneath, a table (that can be extended) and two chairs plus a two seater sofa. We can provide clean towels and fresh bed sheets etc if you need them.

Bedroom 2 is on the main floor. It has a lovely large window seat, a large 3 seater sofa, chest of drawer, cupboard, desk, double bed and shelving and cupboards. Clean towels and fresh bed linen can also be provided.

There’s a large bathroom with shower over bath and a kitchen diner that is shared between three people and has all the mod cons, microwaves washing machine, fridge freezer etc, all kitchen appliences, crockery, cutlery etc are for all lodgers to use. It’s important to note there is no lounge but all bedrooms are large and have their own sofas so we’ve never found this to be a problem. The room is only suitable for one person for this reason no couples or pets due to allergies I’m afraid.

We are looking for (isn’t everyone! 😂) someone who is considerate of others, tidy and easy to get along with, references will be requested, ID’s checked, and you must have all the correct documentation to be able to rent a room in the uk.

I’m the owner, I also have a bedroom in the apartment which I use a maximum of one night a month for work, always with notice. I live the rest of the time in Kent with my husband and children. My husband runs his own building company which comes in very handy if any problems arise at the flat, we get it sorted straight away.

The other female lodger has lived with us for about 18months and she works locally.

Location is fabulous for Richmond park (15mins walk) the river (5 min walk) and transport links, with a bus stop outside that serves Richmond and Hammersmith. Free parking around the surrounding roads so no permits needed.

I will be doing face time interviews as the first point of contact I find this saves wasting time for both of us. This is NOT a party house. We like our lodgers to feel safe, comfortable and offer a relaxing place to come home to.
