Large Double Room In a Beautiful Family House

We have a large, newly refurbished double room available for a single occupant on the top floor of our 6-bedroom family house. The room is fully furnished with a double bed (140 cm), a desk overlooking the garden and lots of storage. The tenant will share a modern bathroom with only one other girl, equipped with both a shower and a bath. All bills and utilities are included with fast wifi. There is a dedicated fridge, freezer and pantry space in the family kitchen.

We are a family of four plus a friendly dog, living in a large, beautiful house with a room currently available as our eldest daughter will be away at university.

We are looking for a friendly, independent university student (Kingston University is our closest) who is comfortable with our family dog. We are flexible on start and end dates, but ideally our tenant will start in September 2026 with a minimum stay of one semester. Last year we hosted two international students (French and German, each for a semester) and had a very positive experience we are looking to replicate. Please see their reflections attached below.

We are just a 5 minute walk to Kingston University Campus and a 10 minute bus ride to Kingston Centre. Furthermore, we are a 5 minute walk to Surbiton Station which gets you to London Waterloo in just 20 minutes by train. Easy access to Gatwick or Heathrow airports if needed.
