🌿Beautiful cottage-style home in Twickenham

A room is becoming available from September in our cosy 2 bed Victorian cottage in Twickenham.

The house is full of character: original wooden floors throughout, fireplaces in every room, lots of plants, a sunny living room, a separate dining room, and a garden that is perfect for summer BBQs (or in my case braai's).

It's a calm, friendly home where we enjoy each other's company but also have our own independent lives.

My current housemate and I have built a lovely friendship over the years. We often chat after work, occasionally cook together, watch a series on the sofa, head out for brunch or a walk along the river, but equally there's never any pressure to socialise and we both respect each other's space.

A little about me:

I'm South African and work for The Royal Parks. I love nature, hiking, photography, gardening, animals and all things cosy/wholesome pretty much. My perfect weekend would involve a riverside walk with a takeaway coffee, browsing a garden centre, reading in the sunshine, a countryside hike or ending the day at a pub with friends.

I also come with Olive, my miniature schnauzer, who is very friendly, very gentle and usually found napping somewhere sunny. She is also hypoallergenic and rarely barks.

The house is in a lovely part of Twickenham with a real village feel. We're close to the river, surrounded by cafés, pubs, green spaces and walking routes, while still only around 30 minutes from Waterloo.

2 bathrooms - mine is en suite and the one downstairs will primarily be yours. It may occasionally be used by guests and I sometimes use the shower too as my en-suite only has a bath.

The room available is upstairs and more photos of the bedroom and bathroom will be added soon once my current housemate has finished packing and preparing for her move.

I often work from home so I'd ideally like to find someone who works primarily outside the house or only works from home occasionally.
