Looking for a new housemate to join me in a furnished two-bedroom house just outside the city centre.

Move in date could potentially be before August.

A bit about me: I’m a full-time professional working in the language industry, occasionally picking up shifts in a bar in Ancoats. I’m vegan, enjoy running, travelling, cooking, gigs, festivals and generally making the most of Manchester. I’m friendly and sociable, but also appreciate having my own space and a calm home environment.

You’ll also be sharing with my 12-year-old Husky, who is incredibly friendly and loves people. He doesn’t need looking after, but if you’re a dog lover he’ll happily accept extra fuss and the occasional walk. Be warned: he sheds a lot!

• Two-storey house with two bedrooms
• Shared bathroom
• Furnished throughout (you’ll need your own bed and mattress); TV is going but I may replace it
• Optional wardrobe available
• Good-sized garden, great for summer BBQs
• Quiet area despite being very central
• Walking distance to Ancoats, Northern Quarter, Victoria and the city centre

Pets may be considered following a successful meet-and-greet with the Husky and landlord approval.

I’m looking for someone who is kind, reliable, respectful and wants a genuine home rather than just a room. The house is fairly minimalist at the moment, so if you’re into plants, interiors or making a place feel cosy, that’s very welcome.
