En-suite double room in lovely Ancoats flat

Hi! I have a room available in my lovely Ancoats/New Islington flat as my friend is excitingly (but sad for me) moving out to live with her boyfriend at the end of September!

I moved up to Manchester at the start of 2023 and love living here, I’m hoping to find someone I could be friends with as well as flatmates ☺️

Key info:
- Rent is £675 and bills come to around £190-200 a month (including council tax, energy, water and wifi)
- Building has a concierge, a small gym, club room and terrace for residents
- No car parking but there is on street permit parking nearby and people in other buildings often rent their spaces out
- New Islington tram stop is a 5 minute walk away and it’s around a 10-15 minute walk to NQ/Piccadilly
- Close to all Ancoats has to offer - the marina, Aldi, Pure Gym and of course pollen and the flat baker 🥐

About the flat:
The flat is light and spacious with a shared open plan living space/kitchen area. The living area is furnished (although some of the furniture will be changing as some pieces belong to my current flatmate).

About the room:
The room is unfurnished but has a built in wardrobe area that leads to the en-suite. You can comfortably fit a king size bed, chest of drawers and a desk if you work from home.

About me:
I’m 31 and work at the University, usually wfh 1-2 days a week. I’m friendly and easy going and like to keep my evenings during the week fairly chilled often cooking, watching a new series, reading, going to a fitness class or a pub quiz.

Outside of work I like keeping active, seeing friends, going out for coffee and sweet treats, trying new restaurants, movie nights and making the most of being close to the peaks/lakes/north wales!

I do occasionally look after my friend’s whippet, who is super sweet and well behaved, so would need someone who’s okay with a dog being around sometimes 🐕

Looking to find an equally friendly and considerate flatmate who also likes to keep shared living spaces clean and tidy, and would be up for hanging out but also respectful of each others space.
