Hi! We have just signed up for a brand new 3 bed flat in Jersey Wharf. It is a great location in the middle of Ancoats, only a short walk away from Northern Quarter/city centre. We are looking for a third housemate to share with us.

The flat itself is big, and has floor to ceiling windows so lets in plenty of light. The living/kitchen area is a great size for Manchester, which was a priority for us! The rooms are a great size but please note that the flat is unfurnished. We are looking to furnish the living areas when we move in, so it will be a lot less bare by the time you move in! The whole building is brand new, so no-one has lived in the flat before us. It is right by the canal so has a lovely view from the living room and your bedroom.

We only have a video of the flat from our viewing, so can't upload this but please send a message and we'd be happy to share it. The floor plan attached is our exact flat, and the room we are letting out is the one closest to the lounge. It will be sharing the main bathroom with one of us.

The flat has all new amenities (dishwasher, washer/dryer) and the building includes a residents only gym, co-working area, lounge and a lovely garden terrace. There is also a lovely path along the canal that gets closed to the public in the evening, so it is nice and private at night. There is also a 24-hour concierge, with a parcel store, as well as a maintenance and cleaning team.

Move in date: 1 December 2026

Rent: £850 pcm
Electricity: £23.33 (£70 split three ways – fixed for 12 months, so no nasty surprises!)
WiFi: £13.00 (£39 split three ways)
Council tax: approx. £64.22 (Manchester Band D is £2,312.04 a year, split three ways over 12 months)
Water: TBC (paid 6 monthly)

Hi! I start a new job in November so I’m making the move to Manchester city centre! I’m from Cumbria originally. My role will be hybrid, so I'll be in the office three days a week and remote the other two, probably working from a mix of home and co-working spaces.
What I’m into:
- Cooking/baking and trying new recipes
- Pub quizzes
- Crafty workshops
- Walks, mooching around shops and finding cosy cafés
- Travelling
- Trips round charity shops/markets

Dan - I'm Dan, a lawyer working in tech. I work fully remotely and after spending the last two years travelling as a digital nomad, I have decided to put down roots in Manchester!
What I’m into:
- Staying active: rugby, cricket, tennis, the gym, hiking and running. Always up for trying something new!
- Pottery and salsa classes
- Cooking! I’m currently perfecting my margherita pizza with my new oven
- Gigs and music events.

We both enjoy a night out, but equally happy staying in and spending time together as a flat. We're really hoping that our flat feels like proper friends, not just a house share! We'd love a flatmate who's up for cooking dinners together, cosy TV nights in, going out for a drink and exploring everything Manchester has to offer. We also both totally respect personal space and know everyone needs some time to themselves too.

We’re both clean and like to keep things neat, especially in shared spaces, so you can expect a tidy, happy home.

We’d love the flat to be a safe, relaxing space where we can all unwind after work but also feel comfortable having friends over when we’re in the mood to socialise.

We’re in no rush to fill the room, as finding the right person matters way more to us than finding someone quickly! We’d love to hang out a couple of times first, whether that’s a drink, a coffee or a wander around Ancoats, so we can all get to know each other and see if we vibe.
