Comfortbale Dbl Room in Castlefield

My current flatmate is moving out on the 1st of August and I am looking for someone to start a new lease with.

The apartment is in a great location, 5 min walk from the Bridgewater Canal, a couple streets behind The Wharf. Deansgate train station and tram stop are about 10 minutes walk and it takes about 15 minutes to get into the city centre.

The apartment comes furnished with everything in the photos except the TV in the lounge and the portable wardrobe in the room as they belong to my buddy.

The £600 for the room is excluding bills. Currently the bills for water, electric, Wifi, and council tax are around £200 pp. (Council tax band D)

About me: I'm from South Africa and have been in Manchester for just over 3 years pursuing a PhD in Organic Chemistry. I am currently writing my thesis afterwhich I will be working at the University of Manchester as a Research Associate on a fixed 3-year contract (starting 1 September). During the week I'm mostly busy with work, on Saturdays I do some extra tutoring of GCSE and A-levels, and then on Sundays I like to relax, make a nice roast, and take a walk around the canal or into the city centre.

The landlord is very good. Always quick to help if there's an issue. I really like the place and he has kindly allowed me to post an ad to look for someone to start a new lease.
