Lovely Furnished Double Room – Cheadle Hulme

Lovely furnished double room available in our modern home in a quiet, sought-after part of Cheadle Hulme.

The room has a double bed with under-bed storage, two bedside tables, a very large built-in mirrored wardrobe and wall-mounted Smart TV.

The house is spacious and kept to a high standard, with a lovely garden and garden room which you’re welcome to enjoy. There’s free on-street parking directly outside the house, within view of the bedroom.

You’ll be living with myself and my partner (an NHS doctor) we are a gay couple so you must be comfortable with this, plus one female professional lodger who works as cabin crew and is away frequently. I work nights, so with everyone on different schedules the house is generally peaceful and never feels overcrowded.

You’ll share a newly fitted bathroom with our female lodger and, as she’s away a lot, you’ll often have it to yourself.

We’re a friendly, relaxed household and want someone who’ll feel at home here. We all do our bit to keep the communal areas clean and tidy. I generally keep on top of most of it, but we’re looking for someone who’s happy to muck in when needed.

Friends are welcome and overnight guests are fine, limited to one night per week.

We have Mabel, our very friendly Goldendoodle, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with a dog.

We’re looking for a female professional in full-time employment. The house isn’t set up for regular working from home, although the occasional WFH day is absolutely fine.

Smokers are welcome, but smoking is outside only.

There’s a small household kitty of around £10 every 6–8 weeks for shared essentials such as toilet roll, kitchen roll and cleaning products.
