Family home with live-in landlord.. Faded elegance, with all mod cons, three shower/bathrooms, clothes washing facilities, adequate kitchen, inside toilets, wood burner, functional double glazing, secure roof, reasonable outdoor space with herbs and other living things, garden secure place for bikes, on road parking, appropriately abstinent, smoking outside only, walking distance to all amenities, bus routes and trams. Suit person who travels light, needing place to live, study, work, a home rather than just a bed for the night. We prefer wild camping to heavy sessions on the town, the moors and mountains, quantum mechanics, and decent food, the occasional rant, dark humour and the quirks of others.

The gardens at the front and back of the house have a mixed stock of perennials, shrubs, assorted climbers, fruit trees (plum), rambling/climbing roses, and a couple of disappointing grape vines, and a ‘summer’ house and ‘pond’ with resident frog.

WHITE BEDROOM (£690) a relaxing double bedded room with Beidermeir chest of drawers, Queen Anne glass-fronted wall cabinet, and bookcase with low resting-chair, (television available on request), suitable for someone who wishes to unwind after work.

STUDY BEDROOM (£740) a calm double-bedded room with Victorian fold-down writing table/desk, bookshelves, television and wardrobe, which would suit someone who may wish to write and study in the evenings after work.

The rent is all inclusive of all bills, running expenses, council tax and daily sundries.

We particularly welcome people from other countries and cultures.

ps. the house is strictly non-smoking. There is ample space outside at the back of the house for those folk who like a smoke. So 'flatmates smoke', but not in the house.
