Double room: Big ol' house with a 10/10 housemate

Hello fellow northern dwellers,

I'm looking for someone to occupy a wonderful room in this spacious house in Chorlton. It's a genuine gem: Less than a 5-minute walk to the tram stop and supermarket and right next to a bunch of bars and restaurants.

You'll be sharing with just me (Matt) so have a read of the below and if I sound like someone who you'll get on with, fire me a message!

The house:

- Available double room with double bed (memory foam mattress), wardrobe, bedside tables
- Third small room (studio space, office, or extra storage)
- Big kitchen/diner with dining table, plus sofa and TV
- Spacious living room with sofa and TV
- Two bathrooms, both with toilet and shower (one also has a bath)
- Garden with patio, driveway, dishwasher, utility room
- £900 per month including bills

About me:

- 32-year-old freelance medical and creative copywriter; I basically take science and make it interesting for doctors and patients
- From near Leeds, but I've spent the last 5 years in London and I'm making my grand return to the north
- Friendly, clean, respectful, outgoing, laid back, a few other nice adjectives
- I'll mostly be working from home, with the odd day in co-working spaces
- I play saxophone (not antisocially!) and I'm big into funk, soul, disco, hip hop and a bit of jazz. Bonus points if you're a musician or a music lover too
- Into running, the gym, and recently calisthenics
- Also partial to: exploring new spots, a quality meme, railing coffee, Studio Ghibli, reading (anything goes, but lots of fantasy/sci-fi), the sauna, and throwing money at charcuterie

What I'm looking for:

- Someone around my age
- Clean, considerate, fun (surely we're too sophisticated for chats about the washing up)
- Sociable, up for hang outs and a bit of shitchat
- Dare I say it: not just a housemate, but a... pal? That'd be very cool

Forgive me for some of the screenshots, they're from a video tour. I'm moving up this coming Sunday (20th Sept) and I'll likely take some more.
