The room is compact but comfortable and practical, furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, with good natural light.

It would particularly suit someone who lives a simple, organised and compact lifestyle and doesn’t have a large amount of personal belongings. We ask that personal belongings are kept within your own room rather than stored in communal areas.

The property has a good-sized shared lounge with a large sofa, providing a comfortable place to relax and chill after work.

There is also a shared kitchen with a large fridge for only two occupants, so there is plenty of food-storage space.

In addition to the spacious main bathroom with bath and shower, there is a separate toilet downstairs — particularly convenient in the morning, so there’s no need to rush or wait while the other person is using the bathroom.

🌿 Who We Are Looking For

We are ideally looking for a mature working professional or postgraduate who is clean, tidy, respectful and independent.

The property is intended to provide a quiet and peaceful home rather than a highly social shared house.

Sensible and occasional visits from friends are welcome, but parties, frequent social gatherings and overnight guests are not permitted, as we want to maintain privacy, security and a comfortable environment for both occupants.

🧹 Cleaning & Property Management

This is a room-only rental with shared use of the communal facilities, rather than rental of the entire property.

Your bedroom is your private rented space. The landlord retains access to the communal areas for maintenance, cleaning and general property upkeep, with communication beforehand where appropriate.

To maintain a good standard, the two tenants will take turns cleaning the kitchen, lounge and bathroom approximately every two weeks. The landlord will also arrange/carry out deeper cleaning and maintenance periodically.

We are therefore looking for someone who understands and is happy to cooperate with this simple cleaning arrangement and who will clean up after themselves in everyday use.
