Large Double for Rent in Heaton Chapel

The house was refurbished last year to a high standard; everything is brand-new.

There’s a large kitchen, lounge/dining room, shared bathroom for 3 people, good sized front and rear gardens. There is also a utility room which I use as my office because I WFH and I’ve got the smallest room.

Room two is at the back of the house and overlooks the garden.

The road in front is completely pedestrianised, but there is ample parking 20m away on the main road.

On a direct bus route to Stockport. Buses run every half an hour and it takes 14 minutes to the interchange.
10 mins walk to Wellington Road North for buses to Manchester
15 mins walk to Heaton Chapel Railway Station. There’s around three trains/hour to Manchester. Journey is nine minutes to Piccadilly.

It’s a very quiet area, but only around 10 minutes’ walk to the centre of Heaton Chapel where you’ll find a few bars, cafes, and takeaways. Heaton Moor is a very nice area with more options about another 5 to 10 minutes’ walk.

The nearest supermarket is Aldi on Wellington Road. There is an Asda about a mile away and Tesco Extra at PortWood in Stockport, along with a large retail park by Stockport town Centre.

I work regular office hours permanently from home. The other house mate run her own business and work from home. I’m looking for a quiet, mature, clean and tidy, independent, professional.

I enjoy my own company, keep myself to myself and often work late into the evening. If I’m not working, I am at the theatre in the evening or at my partner’s house nearby. I don’t have many friends locally, and family live across the UK, so I’m often away visiting them at weekends.

We have two small friendly dogs that live at my partner’s. They may occasionally come over to visit or stay.
