Spacious, furnished double room available in a modern new-build home on a quiet street overlooking the canal, with beautiful walks right on the doorstep.

This is a calm, sober household and I’m looking for the right person to share it with. I’m in no rush, so fit and vibe are more important than speed.

About the home

- Large, furnished double bedroom. Your room is separated by the staircase so it feels private and not directly next to mine. Bedding not provided.
- Main bathroom for your sole use (I have my own ensuite)
- Large lounge and open-plan kitchen with separate utility room
- Downstairs WC
- Good-sized garden
- Garage storage available if needed
- All bills included (which includes a professional cleaner twice a month). Council tax band E.

It’s a peaceful, tidy home and definitely not a party house.

About me

I’m a professional working in a senior role and I work from home most days. I train regularly, value routine and am more than 7 years sober. My boyfriend stays over a couple of times a week.

I enjoy good conversation and having some company in the evenings but I also value personal space and a calm environment.

Looking for

Ideally someone:

- Professional and down-to-earth
- Friendly and easy to live with
- Respectful of a quiet, sober home (it is an alcohol and drug free house)
- Not working from home full-time (the odd day is absolutely fine)

I’d love to live with someone I can occasionally socialise with or watch something in the evening.
