Spare Room in Central Manchester Apartment

I’m looking for someone lovely to join me in my home and rent the spare room in my apartment in Manchester.

A little about me: I work in the city and am office-based five days a week. I’m quite an introvert at home and I really value my home as a safe, peaceful and relaxing space. Because of that, I’m ideally looking for someone who is also office-based and doesn’t regularly work from home. I love coming home to a calm environment where we can both switch off from work rather than having to worry about being quiet around work calls.

The apartment is in a gated community, which makes it feel particularly safe and secure. It’s beautiful, quiet and filled with natural light, with a lovely south-facing aspect. The bedroom is small but cosy and comfortable, and you’ll have shared access to the living room, kitchen and mainbathroom. I've my own bathroom.

There’s also a gym, pool and sauna downstairs.

I love cooking and I’m actually a pretty good cook! I enjoy making food at home and occasionally having dinner parties, so it would be lovely to have someone who enjoys sharing good food and a bit of company. I also love exploring , whether that’s discovering new places around Manchester, going out for food and drinks, or travelling further afield.

I’m looking for someone who is kind, positive, considerate and ideally a little spiritual — someone who enjoys a peaceful home and is happy to share it in a friendly but respectful way.

The room has actually been home to my previous flatmate (doctor) for nearly 4 years. He’s recently moved out with his partner, so I’m now excited for this to be the start of a new chapter.

I’m very aware of how crazy the demand for rooms in Manchester is at the moment, so I’m expecting there may be a lot of interest.
