Double bedroom

Hey! I’ve recently bought a house in Newton Heath, right by the canal. Great transport links (83 bus round the corner and tram stop 8 minute walk away) The street itself is quiet, with plenty of parking and a small green/park area just opposite.

The room is a good-sized double with a full bed and blackout blinds, overlooking the back yard. There’s currently a desk in there which will be removed when the current housemate leave and a large wardrobe can be fitted into the alcove alternatively it can be kept as desk space.

The house has been newly renovated — brand new kitchen, fresh paint throughout, new bathroom, carpets, radiators, the lot. I’m still doing bits over time but it’s in great shape already.

A bit about me: I’m 35, work in the city centre, and I’m pretty laid back. I’m always happy to have a chat or hang out, but equally respect people’s space and do my own thing. I’m into the gym and work quite a lot. I also have a very friendly (slightly skittish!) indoor cat — he’s quite chatty but harmless. The garden will eventually be made cat-proof for him.

Living room has a new sofa, plus EE fibre broadband and EE TV if you fancy chilling in there.

Looking for someone easygoing who’ll treat the place like home — clean, tidy, and respectful. You’re welcome to use all the space as your own.

The room will be available in about 4 weeks as my current housemate is moving out.

£650 pcm including bills.
