Lovely double en-suite room to rent

A lovely double en-suite room is becoming available in a comfortable, relaxed home in Prestwich.

This isn’t a busy or crowded houseshare, it’s a peaceful, settled home, so it would suit someone who enjoys having their own space and wants somewhere genuinely comfortable to come home to. Happy to be sociable but also happy of you prefer to be left alone.

The room is furnished and has double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk etc.

You’ll have use of the shared kitchen and living areas, as well as the garden. There are two sitting rooms, so you can use what we lovingly call the snug at any time, whilst we use the other living room.

The house is a characterful 1930s semi in a quiet residential area, with good access to Prestwich, Manchester and local transport links, including tram into Manchester and 19 minutes from Heaton Park.

There is a driveway for parking and an outside small garage where the laundry room is housed.

There are three small dogs in the house, so you absolutely need to be comfortable around dogs. They’re very much part of the household, although you won’t be expected to look after them and will rarely see them, although you will definitely hear them when you come in: they are friendly and usually quiet, aside from people coming and going.

The practical bits:

£800 per calendar month, council tax, tv licence, sky and WiFi all included.

There would be a minimum stay of 6 months and no maximum.

Male or female welcome but prefer someone over 30.

I work from home, so I’m looking for someone respectful, clean and considerate who appreciates a peaceful home. Ideally someone independent who is friendly when our paths cross but is equally happy doing their own thing.

This would probably suit a working professional looking for a settled home rather than a busy social houseshare.
