A large, fully furnished double room with its own en-suite shower room, available in a quiet and friendly home in Prestwich.

The room includes a double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair, as well as a Sky box with a Sky subscription included.

You’ll also have almost exclusive use of a separate TV/dining room, shared kitchen and garden. The laundry area is in the garage, where there is also a large additional fridge freezer, as well as the fridge freezer in the kitchen. Parking is available on the driveway.

Council tax, WiFi, TV licence and the Sky subscription are included in the rent. A fixed contribution of £60 per month is payable towards gas, electricity and water.

The shared areas are cleaned weekly, helping to keep the house clean and comfortable.

We have three small, friendly dogs, so you’ll need to like dogs and feel comfortable around them. They will bark when someone first enters the house, but they soon settle. We have our own separate living room, so you won’t see a great deal of them in the shared spaces.

The house is close to Heaton Park and within easy reach of the tram stop, as well as the bars, cafés and restaurants in Prestwich Village.

We’re looking for someone friendly and easy-going who is happy to stop for a chat but also enjoys having their own space. This is a peaceful home rather than a busy house share, so it would suit someone looking for somewhere settled, relaxed and comfortable.

Our current lodger has been very happy here, and we’re hoping to find someone who will feel equally at home.
