Some SOLE use of property; Double room w/ensuite

Double bedroom (w/onsuite)

You would have the space to yourself for extended periods of time as I have travel plans in 2026, beginning in January

Your main space is a basement conversion with a double bedroom with large window and natural light, a private bathroom (shower, not bath), a walk-in closet and an additional storage room with own fridge and kettle. The room is freshly decorated and furnished with a double bed, desk, chair, sofa, rug, bedside table and lamp (any of which I am willing to remove). The kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, the dining room, lounge and garden are shared between us when I am there, but would be yours alone when I am not. There is parking outside the property and the street is quiet and residential.

I am a psychotherapist with online clients, enabling me to travel. I am sociable and friendly but my house is calm and quiet. I've been overseas for the past 16 years and most of my friends and family are not in the UK.

The house is a 3 min walk to a lovely village with coffee shops, pubs, a launderette, a post-office and a plastic-free shop. It is a 10min walk to the main town with many bars, restaurants, shops, a library, a cinema, a theatre and the metro (20mins, straight into Manchester city centre). Manchester airport is a 15 min drive away and Manchester Royal Infirmary is on a direct bus route. There is street parking available outside the property.

I am looking for a clean, respectful, trustworthy person who will appreciate the space in my absence.
