🌿 Bright Double Room with Private Bathroom | Salford | 15 mins from Deansgate
A bright and spacious double room is available in a peaceful flat in Salford, a 15 minute walk from Deansgate, 5 minutes from Peel Park, and only a couple of minutes from both Sainsbury's and Co-op.
The flat is on a main road so it always feels very safe, but it's surprisingly quiet. There are no flats directly either side of us, which makes it feel tucked away from the hustle and bustle despite being so close to the city centre.
The room includes:
✨ Double bed
✨ Wardrobe with mirror
✨ Chest of drawers
✨ Bedside table
You'll also have your own private bathroom (not en-suite) directly opposite the bedroom, complete with a shower that has excellent water pressure.
The flat features:
☀️ South-facing windows and balcony, with lots of natural light and beautiful sunsets
🌿 Shared kitchen and living space
🦇 Cute little bats that fly around the building at night
🚶 Easy walking distance to the city centre, shops and green space
The vibe:
I'm looking for someone who wants a home, not just a room. This is very much a calm, cosy and respectful space and not a party house. It would suit someone who values a peaceful environment, enjoys their own company, and appreciates coming home to somewhere that feels restorative after a busy day.
I'm autistic and would love to live with a fellow neurodivergent woman who understands the importance of having a home that feels safe, comfortable and low-pressure. I'd love to find a fellow introvert who enjoys slower living and is happy with a home where people can have a chat over a cup of tea or the occasional movie night, while also respecting each other's downtime and personal space.
Cleanliness and consideration are important, although I'm definitely looking for tidy rather than spotless! I have a nut allergy, so the flat would need to be completely nut-free. Happy to chat more about this, but it's important that home remains a safe space for me.
A bit about me:
I work from home for a chocolate company (yes, free chocolate is definitely one of the perks 🍫) and I'm currently training to be a yoga teacher at The Life Centre. Wellbeing, mindfulness and creating a peaceful home environment are important to me.
I'm vegetarian and love nature, animals, reading, yoga, period dramas, comedy nights and music I've been sober for two years and never go out out – I much prefer quieter ways of spending my time. You'll usually find me reading, at yoga, walking in nature. Friends come round occasionally for a movie night or board game evening.
If you're looking for a cosy, calm home with good energy, plenty of natural light and a housemate who values kindness, respect and open communication, I'd love to hear from you!
