Hello everyone! My lovely flatmate has to unexpectedly move out (and take her cats with her, boooo) so I’m looking for somebody to move in. Ideally from the 1st of December, but there’s wiggle room!

I’m a 27-year-old bartender, so I do work evenings and weekends, but I’m always quiet when I come home, and it means you’ll get some relaxing evenings to yourself if you work a 9-5!
I love being busy on my days off, going to art galleries, gigs, heading out for food or drinks, etc - although sometimes I do just need a quiet day reading in my room to recharge after a week of dealing with the general public.

I’m completely okay with you having friends around to visit or stay - I do the same - and would love for us to become friends as well, and have a wine and TV night together or two. I’m a vegetarian, but I’m happy for you to eat/cook whatever you want! I’m a very clean person, and I always keep on top of dishes, wiping surfaces, putting things back where they live, etc.

THE FLAT:

We’re a 10/15 minute walk from Media City, so super close to shops, restaurants and pubs, and there’s a really cute bar called the Bee Orchid right outside our apartment building, as well as a fancy Italian restaurant and a couple of cafes.

There’s a Co-op directly beside us, and Tesco/Aldi/Puregym/Dominos/McDonalds, etc. are all in walking distance along the main road.

Directly across the street from the Exchange Quay tram stop, so very easy to get into town or switch at Cornbrook and head elsewhere. About a 15-minute walk from Trafford Bar.

The apartment building does have a parking garage, but you have to pay extra for it (I don’t drive, so I’m not sure how much.)

£625 a month, with bills and council tax about another £200. Council tax band C.

The room comes with its own en-suite (I use the main bathroom as my own) and a double bed and wardrobe.

The flat has a washer-dryer and a dishwasher, and I own other essentials like a kettle. My flatmate will be taking her TV with her, so you’re welcome to bring your own.

A lot of the current decorations in the living room are my flatmate's, so I’m excited to shop for a new rug and things when she moves out to make everything cosy and cute again - I’m a huge fan of maximalist/wacky interior decoration, so be prepared for colour.

Pet-friendly flat! I don’t own any myself, but I’ve become best friends with my flatmate’s cats over the past 11 months and will 100% sob my heart out when they leave, so feel free to bring a new animal for me to grow tragically attached to.

I’ll be arranging viewings in the next couple of weeks - so if you’d like one just drop me a message on here :)
