Hello! I’m currently living in a modern 2 bedroom apartment on the Trafford side of Salford Quays.
This is a 6th floor property that boasts a communal garden/terrace area and 2x communal balconies. The property itself has a share kitchen-living room space large enough to host a couple of necessary. As my bedroom has an ensuite, the communal bathroom would be yours to personalise. The building is very conveniently located with wharfside tramstop at its foot, making the city centre a 12-15min tram ride away or a 45min walk along the canal that runs past the building itself.
In the locale is White City restaurant park, a 10min walk away that hosts a TheGymGroup, Aldi and M&S all close enough to walk your groceries to and from if you haven’t got a vehicle. And if you do, the building offers reliable on street parking at its foot and on an adjacent street. In-building are secure bicycle storage units if you’re into your cycling.
If you’re a football fan, the flat has a view of Old Trafford football stadium with the stadium itself being a 5min walk away. And if you’re a City fan, we can just close the blinds. The building neighbours both the stadium and Victoria warehouse but noise pollution is not a concern as each room has double windows that neutralise any external noise.
As I’m also living in the property, it’s only fair to describe myself as part of the deal. I’d describe myself as quite extroverted and would be ideally wanting to make a new friend as well as a flatmate, but I appreciate some may just want to use the flat as a place for rest and relaxation which I am more than willing to abide by. I work irregular shifts including lates and weekend consistently and the occasional night shift so would require some accommodation be made in that respect.
In my spare time I try as best I can to stay healthy and fit, going to the local gym 3-4 times a week and playing rugby, badminton, tennis and padel casually and when I’m able.
I very much enjoy cooking and maintaining healthy lifestyle, but I’ll crumble under minimal pressure to get a takeaway and stick a film on.
My girlfriend and I have recently broken up and we shared the property, hence the vacancy. I’ve never had to live with someone I don’t know before but I’m excited by the opportunity. I’m flexible for move in between now and mid August. And I’m less worried about tenancy length right now than I am about being able to pay the rent so any tenancy duration, long or short, I would be open to
I’ll always offer to invite you along to any socialising I’m doing but I’ll respect if thats not something you’re interested in. Hopefully we can grab a coffee or beer to help make your decision :)
