Double room for rent in West Didsbury flat

Hi!

I'm Sarah and I'm looking for someone to rent my spare room. I own the flat so am a live-in landlady, but really just a solo person looking for a friendly flatmate! It is fully furnished and equipped with everything we need.

It's a 2 bedroom flat with a shared kitchen, living room and bathroom, all of which are spacious yet cosy. I have a cat who is shy at first but very sweet and affectionate once she is comfortable with you. As she is shy, she can't share with other pets. The flat also has a dedicated parking space in an off-road gated parking area which I don't use so is all yours.

The room has a double divan bed with underneath storage, a built in double wardrobe with 3 drawers and a separate drawers/shelving unit. A desk can be provided if needed.

I work from home most of the time in the living room and I'm around most evenings unless I have plans with friends. I'm sociable and happy to spend evenings watching TV and eating together, or alternatively will respect your privacy if you'd prefer your quiet time. I like movies, films, music, comedy, games and general socialising with friends. My flat is a haven for me so I'm looking for someone on the same page as me - respectful of each others' space and peace. I would prefer a female roommate, professional, 30+, non-smoker but I'm open minded to the right person. Ideally I want someone who will co-exist happily with me for as long as you're here. I'd like someone who is happy to balance sociable time together and private, quiet time.

The area is amazing and one of the biggest selling points. It's a 12 minute walk to Burton Road tram, and there are plenty of local bus connections with quick and easy access to the city centre. Burton Road itself is a hub of activity - loads of lovely independent restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, and a lively social scene. There are also plenty of parks and the river in easy walking distance.

All bills are included in the rent including WiFi and a fortnightly cleaner.
