Hi! I'm Connor and I'm looking for a new flatmate in a two-bed rented flat near Burton Road, West Didsbury. My old flatmate is moving away in December so the room must be filled.
It's a double room with bathroom and shared living space. The flat itself is in a very quiet area, with a full-use parking spot round the back if needed as I don't own a car. It's fully furnished with a bed, few chest of drawer units etc.
Base rent: £715
Bills incl council tax: approx. £180
Location: < 5 min walk to Burton Road tram stop, 20 min walk to Aldi and plenty of shops on Burton Road itself.
Flatmate (me): 30-year-old working for the council in the city centre. I do three days WFH and 2 in the office. I'm a quiet, chill and clean guy who can be just as happy at the pub, a gig or seeing some movies as I can be just hanging out in the flat with a book or the TV on.
Looking for a relaxed, tidy flatmate who's just as happy either hanging out or doing their own thing. I'm easy!
The landlord/letting agent is keen on a classic referencing check using an online portal but it's not the worst, just takes about 15 minutes or so to fill out the information.
