Lovely double room in Whalley range. Initially available for a short-term let of 3 months from 11th April. It may be possible to extend this, but I will not be able to confirm until May.

The room was fully renovated recently with some lovely Victorian features.

The house is 4 minutes walking from a major bus route, 15 minutes walking to the metro. 15 mins walk to Chorlton.

The road is a super relaxed cul-de-sac with a community vibe and really friendly neighbours.

The Carlton club is a 5-minute walk from a huge pub garden, food, events and more!

Waxed wooden floors, recently painted, and new curtains and furniture. Including a folding desk. Oak-framed double bed with an excellent quality sprung mattress. There is a direct connection to the wi-fi router if required, and also a T. V ariel socket.

The room is not strictly en-suite, but being downstairs, you pretty much have sole use of the downstairs shower room (no waiting for a shower in the morning)

All bills are included in the monthly rent!

The house has two bathrooms with 2 showers and one bath. Utility room with washing machine and dryer, kitchen/ diner with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, gas hob/ electric oven.

There is a small courtyard, a south-facing garden with garden furniture, lovely shrubs, and a real sun trap!

The house has superfast broadband!

I am a senior lecturer and professional musician.

My long-term lodger works full time and is also a musician, so again has a busy work and music life.

Although we love music, the house is quiet, and we rehearse in the city centre and tend to just chill out at home!

Looking for someone who works full-time, or a post-grad student. Ideally, somebody who enjoys the arts and the odd glass of wine or beer. We tend to do our own thing, but occasionally enjoy a meal or a drink in the local!

The house is situated on a cool Victorian cul-de-sac, the neighbours are all super friendly, and there is a real sense of community. The road even has an annual street party in the summer and a bonfire party in November!

4 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop, 15 minutes to Firswood tram stop, 1 5 minutes walk to Chorlton. It is also only 20 Minutes walk to Hulme High Street, 30 minutes walk to Oxford Road.
