Cute flat in Withington available from 01/06/2026

Hi!

My name is Will (he/him). My flatmate is moving out of our rather lovely two bedroom apartment in Withington. His room is spacious, and the kitchen and living areas feel homely, welcoming, and are also good open spaces to socialise in. I hope that the pictures attached reflect this well!

I used to live with one of my best friends before he relocated to London to move in with his girlfriend (how very selfish of him). It was pretty great, and while I wouldn’t expect a friendship like that to pop out of nowhere, I am kind of horrified by the idea of house/flat shares in which people pretty much avoid and hide from one another like the plague. That kind of awkwardness is just painful. Who wants that? It seems much nicer to live with someone you can hang out and talk bollocks with comfortably. Especially since it’s a two person flat.

While I am good at respecting other people’s space and privacy, and will undoubtedly spend time in my room, I am a sociable person and love meeting new people (despite some social anxiety, which I am able to push through). I would like it if my new flat mate felt able to have an active social life here too, and to know that I won’t be tutting and cursing if they have people over. Also, I like to think that I’m empathetic/give af, so if you need to talk I’m sure I would be there to listen.

I’m a musician - I sing and play the guitar, but I do try not to be annoying about it. I have a musical comedy act (it’s less cringe than it sounds). I am typically basic in enjoying binging tv shows and general mooching. I’m also into going to the gym - Muscle Manor is about a five minute walk from here, and is very good.

Access to central Manchester is easy - there is a bus stop about two or three minutes’ walk away from here. It is also very easy to get into Withington. It’s a nice little place if you haven’t been here before. And you can park behind the building on an off-road parking area.

Please do let me know if you’d like to check the place out! It’s super nice and our landlords are very accommodating and have been brilliant so far in replacing broken stuff and generally looking after the place. Also, it could be available in the week before if that's necessary!
