Double Room in 2-bed Terraced House in Withington

Hey! I’m 31, and as my current housemate is moving out, I’m looking for someone to take over the spare room in the lovely 2-bedroom house I rent in Withington. The house is just a 2-minute walk from Withington High Street, with excellent bus links into the city centre and surrounding areas.

The room is available from 8th August 2026. Rent is £600pcm, and bills are around £175 each per month, which includes council tax, water, WiFi, gas and electricity. The council tax band is B.

The house is quite big for two people and has a lovely homely feel. There's a comfortable living room, separate dining room, kitchen, bathroom with both a bath and shower, and a private yard. The bedroom is unfurnished, while the shared living room is already furnished.

There's resident permit parking on the street, and I currently have a permit myself, getting one won't be an issue if you have a car!

I'd love the house to feel relaxed, friendly and homely, somewhere we both enjoy our own space but also have the occasional chat, cup of tea or shared meal when it suits. I'm clean, tidy, considerate and respectful of shared spaces and looking for a housemate who values these things too.

I'm looking for someone who's happy living in a calm, friendly home rather than a party house. I'm a primary school teacher, so I'm usually out during the day Monday–Friday, and I also spend quite a few of the school holidays away visiting friends and family. Outside work I enjoy aerial silks, keeping active, trying new food spots, going for walks and spending time with friends. I also enjoy quiet evenings at home, chilling/watching tv.
