Double room in city centre

*Please note: I'm only considering female applicants looking for a room as an individual, not couples. Sorry, gents!*

Room to rent in a terraced house close to Newport city centre, 5-minute walk from the train and bus stations. There's a small rear garden and on-street parking available with an annual permit (£34).

The house is currently shared by me (the live-in landlord), another female lodger and my rescue dog, Rora, who absolutely adores people and would happily welcome another person into the house!

We're both out at work during the day, although I work in Bristol and mostly work from home. I'm also studying part-time with the Open University alongside work.

**Who I'm looking for**

I'm looking for someone independent who enjoys having their own space and is happy doing their own thing. It would be lovely if we got on well and a friendship developed naturally, but I'm not looking for a housemate to socialise with regularly or share meals and plans with by default. I'm very happy with a friendly chat and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere at home, while everyone has their own life outside it.

Ideally, you'd have some experience of living independently or sharing a house before, and be considerate of the other people living here. Good communication is important to me, so I'm looking for someone who's comfortable being open, direct and respectful if anything needs discussing.

I'd like someone to stay a minimum of 9 months ideally - but lodger agreement will allow you to leave with a months notice :)

Room will be available with a 4 week notice period
