Double room, spacious house, near Ash station

Large, fully-furnished, double room in a spacious 4 bed semi in Ash (GU12). Rental price includes all bills, internet, on the downstairs TV.

I am looking to live with somebody who is friendly, relaxed, a non-smoker (in the house)
Due to recent events, I currently work from home two days a week.

About the room

Double, south-facing, light, airy, bedroom; contains double bed, in-built walk-in wardrobe, a normal wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror. Views over the back garden. There is room for more furniture, if you wanted to bring your own, and room for a desk and other WFH stuff should you need it.

About the house

3/4 bed semi, cul-de-sac location, shared bathroom, large rooms, well-maintained house and gardens. Downstairs has a large living room (TV, sofas, coffee table, other bits and bobs) and adjoining dining area with table and chairs. Both are suitable for entertaining. Kitchen has a large range cooker/oven, two large fridge freezers (you will share one with one other), all other usual appliances, and a large adjoining utility room with brand-new washing machine. There is also a downstairs WC and various storage spaces. All rooms in the house have recently-fitted carpets and laminate flooring, tiled kitchen, the usual. Everything in tip-top condition. Good-sized front and back gardens. Driveway is in use but there is plenty of on-road parking nearby. Back garden has a patio, outdoor seating, and BBQ. There is an apple tree out the front and plenty of fruit and veg about the place, and a shed.

About the area

Ash is situated between Aldershot and Guildford. Ash train station is a 5-minute walk and buses, walking and cycling are all realistic modes of getting from A-to-B. Local shops (Co-op, bakery, hairdressers, takeaways, estate agents, , vet, and more) barely a 5-minute walk too. Also within walking distance is the local park and rec, which has a skate park, and tennis and basketball courts. Plenty of woodland areas nearby too, ideal for hiking and biking. Local towns include Ash Vale, Farnborough, Frimley, Aldershot, Farnham, Camberley, Woking and Guildford. Easy access to A3, M3, A31 and London-bound trains.

Initial contract is 3 months (Deposit up-front and rent paid at the 'start' of the month); then on a rolling monthly basis.
