Double room for rent

I am looking for someone easy to get along with, who will treat the house respectfully and keep it tidy. Happy to hang out or give you space. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac, but only a 10 minute walk from the high street, leisure centre, Tesco and some nice walking spots. Lidl, the GP, pharmacy and post office are even closer.

The downstairs is all open plan, hall, kitchen, dining and living. Upstairs is my room, your room and a box room, with a sofa bed, desk, cats bowls and space to dry clothes. There is one bathroom to share, but it is spacious and modern, with large bath and shower. There is also a garage if you need to store things like a bike. I have a spacious garden which you are very welcome to use.

The room is a good size with a large window and freshly repainted. There is a built in cupboard with shelves. I have listed the room as unfurnished, but you are welcome to use the small double bed that is in the picture and am also happy to provide other furniture if that is preferable. You are welcome to look and tell me what works for you.

I usually work long hours at school, often have hobbies in the evenings and am often out socialising at the weekends, so you will likely get a lot of time in the house by yourself. But when I am around, I'm happy to hang out or show you around the area.

I have two outdoor cats. They are usually sleeping in a cosy spot or outside, but once they get to know you will happily greet you or curl up nearby. You are welcome to let them in yours room or shut them out.
