Two furnished double rooms are available in our detached home, set in a quiet cul-de-sac in Fleet. This is a live-in landlord arrangement.

The heart of the house is a large, light and airy kitchen, dining and living space, shared with us. The kitchen is well equipped, and as keen cooks we make good use of it. Skylights and bi-fold doors open straight onto a patio and a generous lawned garden, so it’s bright throughout the day. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, keeping the house warm through the winter. There’s a comfortable seating area with a TV, and you’re welcome to use the kitchen and garden. A separate laundry has a washing machine and tumble dryer, with space outside to dry clothes. Off-street parking is available.

Both rooms measure roughly 3.5m by 3m and come fully furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, desk and chair. The rear room has a double bed and looks out over the garden, and the front room has a single bed. Both rooms are newly decorated and carpeted, and haven’t been lived in since. The two rooms share a modern family bathroom with a bath and shower. The property is registered as council tax band F.

Fleet station is a 15-minute walk, with direct trains to London Waterloo. A Tesco Express and local shops are two minutes from the door, and Fleet’s high street is nearby, a lovely small-town centre with a wide range of shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. The M3 is close by for anyone driving.

Rent is £750 per month for the rear room and £700 for the front room, including gas, electricity, water, council tax and fibre broadband. We’re also happy to offer a Monday to Friday let at a reduced rate of £650 and £600. The deposit is one month’s rent, returned at the end of the let. We’re looking for a minimum stay of six months, with some flexibility for the right person.
