DBL-room in a shared, conveniently located house

About me: I would like a housemate not just a lodger; someone who wants to make a little home for themselves and is good company at the end of the day or week. Ideally you're independent, like being out and about and are happy for us to have friends who come and go. I don't mind what you do for a living as long as you have stable income. Other than that, I'm open to all walks of life... if you're lovely, that's all that matters. I love to cook, love music, do not have a TV and have rediscovered my love for books/reading.

If the above is not you: The room is available to let to someone who may not wish to be a housemate however, would like a quiet, comfortable space and there's plenty of space for that too.

I would like to believe that living in a shared space should be a 'home' not just a place to live so to speak, not in each others shoes, private space, etc... can't find the right phrase but hopefully the gist is clear.

So a lovely furnished double room is available to let. The house has been recently re-decorated with new carpets and fresh paint throughout. It has one bathroom (which has just been redone), shared between the two rooms and a second loo downstairs.

You would have shared use of the whole house including kitchen, lounge and conservatory. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you should need including dishwasher and washing machine.

The house is in a very sunny position and has a large mature garden (in fact two to be honest) which you are welcome to enjoy. There is off road parking for one car (I do not own one so the space is free) and a shed which you are welcome to use to store bikes etc. There is also plenty of on road parking outside the house.

The house is in a nice, quiet area and within easy walking distance of the town centre and the village. Shops and pubs and other eateries and retail all nearby. It is also on one of the bus routes and not far from other routes if required.
