I live in a newly converted 150-year old pub, which has been given all the modern touches to make life as comfortable as possible
We have a bus stop directly outside the house with regular buses (number 13) going into Basingstoke, via Hook one way and Alton and Whitehill the other
I am about a three-minute drive to J5 of the M3
The room I would like to rent out would be for a single, professional person, from Monday - Friday.
I have furnished the room with a brand new bed, bedside cupboard, four-drawer chest of drawers, 1.5m floor to ceiling wardrobe with variety of hanging and shelving, brand new television on wall bracket, full length mirror and view over the front of the house
The bathroom has a bath with shower overhead, wash basin and toilet and is almost exclusively for your use, apart from an occasional bath for my twelve-year old granddaughter who comes to stay once a week, and any of my friends and relatives who stay in my guest bedroom
You would have use of my large kitchen/dining room and the garden, weather permitting
I have two designated parking spaces at the front of the house so there is parking for one car other than mine
I am surrounded by beautiful countryside, close to the Basingstoke canal and about one mile into the beautiful village of Odiham
We are fortunate enough to be within close walking distance to two fabulous pubs/restaurants - the Mill House and The Derby, both with great reputations for food, drink and ambience
