It is a fully self contained studio annex with a King size bed in the back of our garden. It is 5 mins from QA hospital in the car or about a 15min bike ride. Guests will have the entire lodge to themselves including living space with a private entrance and access through a side gate to the house (pin codes will be provided on the day of check in) The walkway to the lodge is well lit to the back garden when dark. The kitchen has a toaster/kettle/microwave-oven/steamer/slow cooker and fridge/freezer for your convenience.
If you are a professional/apprentice and would like to stay weekly but for only a few nights then please email for a different rate.
Wifi is provided with a workspace for a laptop
We have an air-conditioning unit which provides coolness in the summer and heat in the winter (but please remember to close all windows and doors when in use). We also have a radiator in the property to provide a low consistent warmth in the winter months.
Hot water last for 10mins as the electricity and hot water is heated by the solar panels on top of the roof
We have an iron, shaving point and hairdryer available for your convenience.
Parking is available on the road outside the front of the property and there is usually ample but unfortunately no parking available on the driveway.
Guests are welcome to use the the patio area for breakfast and our garden is astro turf so mud or rain is not a problem.
We do have two very inquisitive children (5yrs and 7yrs) who will probably want to come and say hello and see if you want to play football with them or jump on the trampoline! but we will respect your peace. We do have a small dog who may bark to say hello but she is very friendly. Please let us know if you are wary of dogs and would like us to put her away when you arrive and leave. But please do close the gate behind you as we want to avoid her escaping! Thank you.
Professional clean will be required at the end of any tenancy which will be at the cost of the guest. This can be arranged through us or the guest.
